Lime Trust is a Multi Academy Trust which was founded in 2015, which merged with Hornbeam Academy Trust in September 2019.   The Lime Trust has grown from 4 to 7 Schools which are located in the following areas; Havering, Waltham Forest and Peterborough.  The Trust is a mixture of both Primary and Special Schools including an Ofsted Outstanding Hospital & Home Tuition Service located in Whipps Cross Hospital in Waltham Forest.

Family Support Worker

We are looking to employ an outstanding Family Support Officer to join a team at our Academy.

Lime Academy Hornbeam is a split-site school which caters for the educational needs of pupils between the ages of 2-19 years of age with a wide range of Special Education Needs and Disability, from severe and profound learning difficulties and autism to Social Emotional Mental Health difficulties.

You will act as a key contact for parents/carers to support their contact with school and outside agencies, e.g. social services, and the wider community, breaking down barriers to progress and attainment. You will support the Safeguarding work of the school through direct work with pupils and their families.

 

Salary: Scale 5, Points 11 - 16

Actual salary: £21015 - £22978
