George Tomlinson Primary School is an exciting place to work. It is a friendly, vibrant, three-form entry school with a nursery, with excellent transport links and amenities, based in the heart of Leytonstone.

We are looking for committed, creative and motivated staff to help us on our journey to outstanding. We offer many opportunities for CPD, support and mentors for new staff as well as a friendly and enjoyable working environment. We teach a progressive, broad and balanced curriculum including the Singapore Maths Scheme Inspire Maths, a dynamic approach to reading called ‘Destination Reader’, Project Based Learning and support pupils well-being through mindfulness and growth mind set techniques.


We are looking to appoint dynamic, enthusiastic teachers, who genuinely want to change children’s lives to join our team as a classroom teacher. We offer a vast programme of professional development opportunities for our staff to support development and career progression.
