The Council’s already established Job Brokerage has already engaged with thousands of residents and supported hundreds of residents into work.
We are seeking an energetic and creative Account Officers to work with employers to broker employment and progression opportunities for residents. This will be driven by working with employers to create bespoke, tailored and innovative solutions for employers.
Successful applicants will need to have an interest and understanding of supporting residents in their job-search journey and working directly with employers to ensure that Job Seekers can benefit from their opportunities.
You must be confident in dealing with a variety of residents, businesses, and stakeholders through multiple communication channels, whilst being a positive advocate for all service delivery. You must be able to relate to business and understand their needs alongside understanding the needs and social and economic barriers of residents. Be highly organised and an excellent communicator, and able to prioritise a constantly evolving workload, whilst continuing to deliver to tight deadlines. You need to be adaptable and resilient to change, approach queries and challenges in a dynamic and solution focused way and be able to apply your skills to provide a range of support to varying service areas.
