
Trainee Finance Administrator
The Genesis Education Trust is an expanding collection of outstanding and good Church of England schools in east London with a fantastic track record of training and progression opportunities. We are seeking to recruit ambitious trainee finance administrators to learn the ropes and progress in their careers.
We have 2 trainee finance administrator roles available and each role will focus on a number of aspects within the finance administrator job description. Do you have a passion for accounting? or the eye for detail required to oversee and monitor procurement and invoicing? This is an exciting new role with the potential to progress quickly into more senior financial roles.
The successful candidates will learn how to provide effective and efficient support to the Chief Operations Officer across the Trust, including aspects of payroll, pensions, procurement, income receipt, invoicing and VAT processing and claims procedures.
We would be particularly interested to hear from people who want to develop their career in finance, we would be happy to provide support and backing for external accountancy training courses to a degree level alongside the training you will be given in your role
Do you have:
- Previous experience of working in an office Finance or Administration role.
- Good ICT skills.
- Experience of processing invoices.
- Excellent numeracy/literacy skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive payroll information in a confidential manner
