We are looking for a Capital Portfolio Assurance Manager to support the delivery of our ambitious plans by leading on the monitoring and assurance of the Council’s capital investment programmes, as well as helping demonstrate their impact on the borough, our local economy and our residents.

THE ROLE

Capital Portfolio Assurance Manager

Grade: PO05

Salary range: £43,860 to £46,839

As Capital Portfolio Assurance Manager you will work as part of a successful team to develop and manage effective processes and frameworks to support delivery of our capital investment programmes and enable robust reporting and assurance to senior officer and member boards.

A significant aspect of this role will be to help demonstrate the performance, delivery successes and outcomes for local communities and the local economy of our ambitious capital investment portfolio, through the development of a Total Return on Investment framework.

We are looking for a motivated individual who has excellent analytical skills and understanding and experience of project/programme management, as well as demonstrable working knowledge of governance and assurance, risk management and benefits realisation. The ability to work collaboratively and confidently with stakeholders at all levels across the Council will also be key to success.

The role is offered on a part office and home-based arrangement.
