AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY!!
Our new Site manager will be joining a wonderful community primary school in Walthamstow. S/he will be enthusiastic, flexible, hard-working, honest and reliable and be committed to becoming an integral part of our amazing staff team. S/he will be focused on making our school buildings and the learning environments safe, clean and attractive.
S/he will be able to work under direction from the Headteacher and School Business Manager and be able to manage their own workload, be an effective communicator and able to work alongside school staff and external contractors.
The Site Manager will be a keyholder and as such must be able to attend school within 30 minutes should the occasion arise.
S/he should have an existing knowledge about the demands of a school and as such should have good knowledge of health & safety, compliance and an understanding of budgets and contract monitoring. S/he should have excellent record keeping skills and be able to keep up to date with existing recording systems. They should therefore have good writing and numeracy skills and also IT skills. They should have a good understanding of risk assessments – how to assess risk and monitor risk.
