The council are seeking to recruit an operational and practice support coordinator to join our operations and practice support team. The team sits in the Quality Assurance Service within the Families & Homes Directorate.

As operational and practice support coordinator you will;

  • Support the Operational & Practice Support Manager in implementing & evaluating the divisional wide strategies and plans including the Workforce Development Strategy
  • Support the delivery of training to individuals or groups of employees as and when the need arises
  • Support the management of the divisional procedure & guidance manual
  • Support the evaluation of the impact of services
  • Provide support to projects
  • To support the project plans for regulatory inspections.
  • Work with Directors, Heads of Service and other stakeholders as appropriate to provide support for specific pieces of work

To be successful in this role you need to have a good understanding of Outlook, Word and Excel, be familiar with data input and ideally have a background or understanding of learning and development, as you will be required to assist with the booking and preparation of commissioned courses.

This role requires you to be able to work well within a team as well as prioritising your own work with minimum supervision. Great interpersonal and organisational skills are required as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, coordinating meetings and training as well as undertaking general administrative duties.
