Salary: APT&C Scale 5, Year round, £16,988 (pro rota) 


  1. 15 hours per week. (Mon-Fri: 6:00am-9:00am): £10,193
  2. 10 hours per week (Mon-Fri 5:00pm–7:00pm): £6,795

The federated governing body of Church Hill and Low Hall Nursery School are seeking to appoint a permanent Site Service Officer to work across our federation. The candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude to work in a Nursery environment. Experience in school caretaking/cleaning is useful, but not essential. Proven cleaning and handyperson skills are essential as is commitment to sustainability. 

We would like to hear from highly motivated, well-organised applicants who can use initiative and take pride in their work. We would expect you to maintain very high standards in the upkeep and improvement of our school sites and to enjoy contributing to an excellent eco friendly working environment for pupils, staff and animals.

The post-holder will be responsible for Grounds Maintenance and  Health & Safety – ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met when carrying out duties and functions 

We will need you to be committed to work across the federation at both our nursery school sites, between the hours of early mornings and late evenings to cover locking the building and committed to working weekends when needed.

It is essential that you have a flexible approach, a high degree of motivation and be fully committed to working in a busy school environment. You will be required to show initiative and promote a positive image of the site through your work keeping our school clean and tidy.
