Attendance Officer

Required as soon as possible

Scale:             5    Pt 22 – 25 (£21,394 - £22,079) 

Hours:            36 hours per week / 45.6 week contract

                         (Term-Time Only)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, Attendance Officer. The successful applicant will work with key staff to reduce levels of unauthorised pupil absence and promote whole school attendance strategies to manage a positive attendance and punctuality culture at Buxton School. We are a large all-through school situated in Leytonstone.

The post holder will have daily contact with pupils, parents and staff and therefore must have the ability to relate effectively to all adults and young people.  This post could fit a recent graduate and training will be provided.

Buxton School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
