We’re looking to recruit a permanent Planning Enforcement Technician to support the Council’s planning enforcement functions.

The appointed planning enforcement technician will provide administrative, office and where necessary, fieldwork support activities in relation to the planning enforcement team within the Neighbourhoods & Commercial Services Directorate. Displaying excellent verbal and written communication skills, and flexibility in working patterns and practices. 

We are looking for a Planning Enforcement Technician who is motivated and enthusiastic to join our Planning Enforcement Team. A background in planning administration is desirable as well as experience with inputting data and setting up and monitoring of case files and providing customer service to members of the public.

Successful candidates will play a central role in the delivery of planning enforcement objectives.

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated officer with a demonstrable commitment to top quality regulatory services.
