Waltham Forest is a vibrant East London Borough rich in arts and culture ; being home to the William Morris Museum and Leyton Orient Football Club. Waltham Forest will be the London Borough of Culture 2019. We have a diverse community and are one of the fastest growing boroughs in London.  We are seeking skilled and experienced social workers for our MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub). You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills to work with colleagues at all levels of the organisation. You will be competent at assessing risk and making sound casework decisions.

Join us and you will help us to become a centre of excellence and best practice, building on the strong foundations we have laid. In return for your hard work, we will give you the time and active support you need to make a difference. Promoting creativity is at the heart of our agenda to develop Social Work Practice, and means you will be encouraged to share ideas, bring about positive change and strive to continuously improve outcomes for our vulnerable children. We would like applications from candidates with experience of working within a MASH or Referral and Assessment Team, who hold a Social Work qualification and are HCPC registered. The Council is committed to meeting its 4 equality objectives contained within the Waltham Forest Council Equality Plan 2012/2015:

- Promoting equality of opportunity

- Opposing all forms of discrimination, intolerance and disadvantage
