Regeneration Marketing and Communications Manager P07                                            

It’s an exciting time to join us in Waltham Forest. Next year, we will be in the spotlight as the first ever London Borough of Culture for 2019. This accolade will not only bring a magnificent programme of cultural events and activities to the borough, it will put us on the map and ensure a lasting legacy.

For our ambitious regeneration and growth programme this presents an opportunity to shape the borough, accelerate growth, generate jobs and bring more investment to the borough, ensuring our growth programme benefits all our residents and businesses.

We’re looking for an experienced Communications Manager to drive forward our busy programme of media, events, campaigns, investor relations, and stakeholder and engagement activity.

You will have responsibility for building reputation by generating media and PR opportunities to showcase the best of the borough’s regeneration and growth programme, using your experience and contacts to reach the right people with the right messages in Waltham Forest, London and internationally.

Ideally you will have experience working in this sector. You will be a credible advisor to senior managers and cabinet members, have the ability to lead a team in a face-paced environment and have a track record in delivering excellent results.
