Vacancy Description

Are you a graduate looking for a new role working with children or an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new role? Our forward-looking schools are searching for a talented and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, to support our pupils’ learning. The role will be to teach and provide cover support for whole class settings in support of absence and PPA cover.  This will involve covering a class of up to 30 children.  The ideal candidate will have a particular curriculum subject area specialism (eg. PE, Sport or Music).

Do you have:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent TA qualification is desirable.
  • A passion for working with children, including those with Special Educational Needs
  • An understanding of how children develop and learn
  • Good English, Mathematics and ICT skills
  • The ability to work on our own initiative
  • Experience in a particular curriculum subject area such as PE/Sport or Music
  • Experience running a particular class or club?
