Are you looking for the next opportunity to shine in a forward thinking organisation? Do you have at least 3 years’ experience providing administrative support to senior leaders? Then this may be the job for you.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Senior Administrative Officer to join our busy administrative team at Chingford Academies Trust. As a member of the senior administration team, you will be expected to manage the workload of senior leaders, lead a team and supervise staff on a daily basis. You will need to be flexible, be able to deliver an excellent support service including diary management, support meetings including minute taking, cope in a high pressured environment and deal with constantly changing priorities. The post holder should have experience of dealing with difficult situations and have the ability to be able to deal with any issues or concerns raised under their line management remit.

The successful post holder will need to have all round secretarial experience together with a excellent working knowledge of word processing systems, data recording, proven organisational skills and an excellent telephone manners. The work will be demanding and varied, and strong communication skills (written and verbal), and an attention to detail are essential.

The hours for this post is 36 hours per week, 45.6 weeks per year. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:45 pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. There will be occasions where the post holder will be required to work evenings and time off in lieu can be taken. We are hoping for successful candidate to start in post as soon as possible.
