We have polite and enthusiastic pupils and a committed, friendly staff team. We believe in supporting our pupils and staff to achieve and thrive.

We are in a period of rapid improvement following our Good Ofsted in February 2018 and are looking for committed, creative and motivated staff to help us on our journey. We offer many opportunities for CPD, support and mentors for new staff as well as a friendly and enjoyable working environment.  In the Foundation stage we deliver the early year’s curriculum through well planned continuous provision and ‘In the moment planning’.  We support, guide and challenge children through exciting child initiated activities.  Next year we are implementing this exciting approach into Year 1.

Higher up the school we teach a progressive, broad and balanced curriculum including the Singapore Maths scheme Inspire Maths, a dynamic approach to reading called ‘Destination Reader’, ‘Read, Write Inc Phonics’ and next year will be implementing Mindfulness and growth mind-set techniques.

We are looking to recruit a new early year’s practitioner (Level 2) to join our Early Years team, to start in asap.

Closing date: 03rd July 2020

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offer of a position is subject to receiving satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS Check. Only applications submitted on the LBWF Support Staff Application form will be considered, we do not accept CVs.
