Site Service Officer Scale 5,

Point 12-15 pro rata (£21,393 to £22,571 per year depending on experience) 36 hours per week, 45.6 weeks per year


Heathcote School is an 11 – 18 school on a rapid journey of improvement. The Headteacher joined the school in 2017 and is working with all stakeholders to ensure we provide the best education and life chances we can to the young people of our community. In September 2018 we had a full Ofsted inspection where we were graded as good in all areas.


We are looking for an experienced Site Services Officer to support the Site Services Manager in ensuring smooth operational running of our new Humanities Building and Sixth Form Block. This post is likely to operate on a shift system.


The successful candidate will have daily duties ensuring the security of our school premises and ensuring that our school is a safe environment. The role will include maintaining standards of health and safety including statutory obligations; carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance; liaising with contractors; ordering supplies and security of the site as directed by the Site Services Manager. It is essential that you have a flexible approach, a high degree of motivation and be fully committed to working in a school environment. You will be required to show initiative and promote a positive image of the site through your work.
