Learning Support Assistant Intimate Care and Classroom Support (full time maternity cover)

30 hours x 45.6 weeks (term-time only)

Salary Scale 2 pt 3-4 £20,835-£21,210 (ACTUAL pro rata salary £15,184-£15,457)

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who is :


  • Warm, kind and friendly person
  • Experienced with KS2 curriculum
  • Initiative to adjust and adapt materials to suit the needs of a small group of pupils
  • Experienced with intimate care of older children
  • Experienced with or willingness to learn manual handling techniques
  • Experience with or willingness to learn physiotherapy techniques. 


The post is term time only 30 hours a week (45.6 weeks). Attendance at INSET Days and CPD sessions is required (5 days equivalence).
