Vacancy Description

Waltham Forest Council is looking for a Trading Standards Enforcement Officer to join its Trading Standards Team. The team is part of a larger group of Regulatory Services Officers within the Resident Services Directorate. Ideally you will have significant experience within a Trading Standards environment with a broad range of knowledge and investigative skills as well as experience leading on specialist topic areas. In addition, you will hold a relevant qualification such as DCATs (DTS or DCA) with an interest and working knowledge of intelligence systems used within a Trading Standards Service. London Borough of Waltham Forest Council is a diverse place to work with excellent opportunities created by a varied workload. You will be joining a busy, friendly, and professional team. You should have the ability to work in a team environment as well as on your own initiative providing a customer focused responsive risk based professional service. You should be highly motivated and will be expected to deliver against a challenging work plan.
