Team Manager, Assessment Team within Safeguarding and Family Support

Waltham Forest is a vibrant East London Borough rich in arts and culture; being home to the William Morris Museum and Leyton Orient Football Club which was recognised by us being awarded the first Borough of Culture title by the London Mayors Office.  We have a diverse community and are one of the fastest growing boroughs in London.  We are seeking a skilled and experienced manager to support the Head of Safeguarding and Family Support to deliver high quality and timely intervention for vulnerable children and their families.  The successful candidate will be required to effectively work with colleagues within the organisation and with external partners and stakeholders; ensuring good multi agency working and to facilitate smooth transitions to our Children in Care Team and step down to Early Help.   Join us and you will help us to become a centre of excellence and best practice, building on the strong foundations we have laid. Promoting creativity is at the heart of our agenda to develop Social Work Practice, and means you will be encouraged to share ideas, bring about positive change and strive to continuously improve outcomes for our vulnerable children.
