Finance Assistant - Apprentice
Contract Type : Fixed Term – Term Time Only (including Inset Days)
Plus an additional ten days per annum
36 hours per week
Required immediately Salary : £8.50 per hour
Mission Grove Primary School is looking to recruit an efficient and enthusiastic finance apprentice to work closely with the School Business Manager and Finance Support Officer with all financial procedures undertaken in school.
The role will follow financial regulations and will include managing and processing purchase orders, invoices and payments. You will be trained in using the schools finance system (FMS) and the school’s asset management system. You will assist, and eventually, produce a wide range of reports including budget monitoring reports.
You will be responsible for preparing all banking and reconciling the bank accounts held.
As part of this role, you will be working closely with the Headteacher undertaking PA duties when required.
