We are looking for an enthusiastic Family Finder Social Worker to join one our
Corporate Parenting Team. Our Corporate Parenting service is very dynamic and
has recently underwent a restructure of services. Our current vacancy consist
of one full time social work posts. You will need at least three years post
qualifying child care experience.



The family finders as part of the Corporate Parenting teams has an unique
opportunity to be part of multi-disciplinary practice group and most of the
decisions about family finding and utilising differing resources and considering
the progression of family finding are generally agreed via the monthly meetings
such as permanence planning meetings or weekly group supervision meetings PSG
(practice support groups).



You are expected to be available to provide advice and support with regard to
family finding issues, at any point in the care proceedings.



The successful applicants will be expected to undertake a high standard of
assessments and assist in delivering services. You will need to have a good
understanding of the legal and policy frameworks surrounding adoption and
adoption support.



These job will suit those who are prepared to be creative and innovative in
their thinking. There is a strong team ethos and it is expected that the
successful applicant would have proven team working skills. You will be HCPC
registered and willing to complete an enhanced DBS.
