This is a busy and friendly secondary school and we are proud of our high standards.  The science department has recently benefitted from the expansion of science labs, including a dedicated sixth form space. Holy Family is a very friendly and supportive Catholic school with an inclusive ethos. In 2018, Ofsted described us as a good school in which “leaders are focused on achieving positive outcomes for students and have high aspirations for them”. We are also a school which has “effective strategies, valued by staff, to support staff well-being”. We were awarded Gold Investors in People (IiP) in March 2016 and the school has an excellent programme of professional and career development.  All staff benefit from weekly professional development training, which takes place on a Friday afternoon.
