BUXTON SCHOOL / COVER SUPERVISOR

Salary:  Scale 5: £21,393- £22,978 pro-rata salary

Based on 36 hours per week; term time only 

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during the short term absence of teachers.  Cover can be across all phases of our all-through school although our Cover Supervisors tend to specialise in certain age groups.  This post is likely to be both primary and secondary age focused. Successful candidates will also be required to support the administration needs of particular curriculum areas in the school.  They may also undertake invigilation duties during internal and external examinations.

The post holder will have daily contact with pupils and staff and therefore experience of working with young people is essential. The post holder must have the ability to relate effectively to all adults and young people.  

Successful candidates must be confident in setting high expectations of conduct in the classroom.  Training is available for the successful candidates.
