The role
Chingford Foundation School is seeking to appoint a causal cover supervisor who will take responsibility for groups or classes of students in the short-term absence of their teacher.
If you have experience of successful relevant work with children, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and have knowledge of the Secondary School Curriculum then this may be the role for you.
The School
Chingford Foundation School has recently received the accolade of appearing in England’s top 100 schools for sustained improvement in its academic outcomes. This placed the School in the top 3% of non-selective, state-funding schools. We are also pleased to host a Sixth Form Centre which was rated as “Outstanding” by OFSTED.
In 2017/2018:
- 70% of Year 11 students achieved a standard pass in English and Maths
- 30% of students achieved the EBACC
- Attainment 8 score of 48.3 (indicative national average 46.3)
- Over 50% of A level entries at grades A*-B, 20% A*-A
- 24 subjects at A Level had a 100% pass rate
- BTEC Level 3 – 93% D*/Distinction
- A wide range of university offers and subjects including 31 students placed at Russell Group universities and 2 Oxbridge places.
