ADMIN ASSISTANT

We are currently recruiting for a School Administrator to work term-time only, from 08.30 to 12.30 Monday to Friday at a school in Leyton, East London. You will be expected to hit the ground running and deliver a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a great opportunity to work as part of a committed team.

Responsibilities could include:

  • Recording attendance data
  • Hospitality and warm welcome to all visitors
  • General administrative support within the school office
  • First hand support to Senior Leadership Team


REQUIREMENTS

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Experience of working in a school environment (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Arbor (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Docs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and excellent telephone manners
  • Ability to work using own initiative and prioritise workload;
  • Computer literate:  good use of internet / email
  • The ability to be a team player
  • Good organisational skills
  • A positive attitude
