Part-Time Office Administrator

Salary: APT&C Scale 3, £30,288 (pro rota)

Hours: 10 /14 hours pw (Term Time Only)

We are seeking a highly competent, enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist/Administrator to provide excellent front-line service in our small but busy reception/office area two days per week. You will be the first point of contact for the school in both telephone calls and greeting and welcoming parents and visitors into the school each day.


You will be required to deliver a range of office duties including; general reception and finance duties, clerical and administrative support, operating the switchboard and responding to enquiries.

Ideally you will have previous school reception experience and have some experience of the SIMS system.

Other duties will involve maintaining school fund, operating the schools cashless system, filing, photocopying, receiving and dispatching post and other duties as required.

Applicants must have the ability to prioritise their workload, multitask and be able to use a range of computer software, including spreadsheets and database. You must be very confident in your presentation and communication skills. Excellent standard of English, good telephone manner, attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential.

Experience of working within an administrative environment is a requirement of this post as is the ability to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative.
