Teaching Assistant

George Tomlinson Primary School and Nursery is a growing, welcoming and happy, almost three form entry, primary school which serves a committed, vibrant and diverse community.  We are based in the heart of Leytonstone; a stone’s throw away from the underground station and High Street, with easy access into the heart of London on the Central Line. Our site is clean and bright with large outdoor spaces and well-maintained resources.

We are looking for an outstanding, motivated and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join our established and supportive team. We are very proud of our school and are excited about its future success.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who:

• Is outstanding practitioners with high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
• Has good curriculum knowledge across the primary phases
• Has successful experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Is a creative thinker with a love for learning
• Can bring energy and enthusiasm to the work environment
• Is positive and a proactive member of a team with good interpersonal skills
