Our forward-thinking and inclusive primary school is seeking a dedicated Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils’ learning and development—particularly those with additional needs—while gaining valuable classroom experience.

 

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children individually and in small groups,
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Play an active role in nurturing each child’s potential, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children in a primary setting.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach and positive attitude.
  • Creative and engaging methods to support learning, particularly in small group settings.
  • A commitment to high standards and aspirations for all pupils.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong English, Maths and ICT skills.
  • Ideally, some experience working with children in an educational setting
