Thomas Gamuel Primary School MDA x 2 positions 

Part time position 7.5 hours per week x 44.4 weeks per year.
Salary Scale 1, point 2-3 £25,854 - £26,238 Pro rata salary: £5,386

Following our successful Ofsted inspection, we are looking to expand our team of dedicated
lunch time support assistants. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic midday assistant to
supervise the children at lunchtime, both in the dining hall and in the playground. You will need
to:
∙ be friendly, caring, approachable and fun
∙ be able to engage well with children in a positive manner
∙ be organised and able to work well with a team
∙ be able to understand and comply with all the school policies but in particular
safeguarding and behaviour policies.

It is desirable if applicants hold current childcare qualification minimum NVQ2 and also be
willing to attend courses such as safeguarding, first aid and health and safety.
The candidates must be willing to undertake any other training that may be necessary for
the post.
