Scale NJC 4 point 7-11 £27,855 - £29,583 pro rata per annum

Actual salary £20,056 - £21,300 per annum

5 days/30 hours per week – 8am – 3pm

 

Due to our rapidly expanding school, the Governors of Kelmscott School are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and organised Science Technician to support the Science department within our school. The successful Technician will be working under the Head of Department to support teaching and learning by ensuring equipment and resources are prepared and in good working order to facilitate effective lessons on a daily basis, assist staff during practical lessons and demonstrations, along with providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. The applicant will also work with the wider support team assisting in the delivery of First Aid and escorting students.

The successful applicant will demonstrate integrity, excellent work ethic and professionalism and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding and busy environment. The desired Technician will be hard working and conscientious with a good knowledge of Science.
