The Governors at Barn Croft Primary School are looking to appoint a dynamic, driven and inspirational leader, with a proven track record of rapid school improvement.

Barn Croft is a one form entry school with a nursery class. We are a maintained school within the London Borough of Waltham Forest. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Leader, ideally with prior experience in the role of interim or associate headteacher, who has an extensive and successful background in raising achievement, improving quality of teaching and developing middle leaders. 

 

You will build on the local reputation of Barn Croft as a caring and inclusive community school. The successful applicant should be committed to offering a warm, friendly, and purposeful setting for all our students to flourish. We have a significant number of pupils with complex special needs and you will have experience of working with Local Authority officers in the SEN team and other external providers. 

 

We are looking for a leader who is articulate with strong communication skills, has a sound understanding of budget and school finance and strengths in inspiring, motivating and performance management of staff at all levels. 

You will provide professional vision and leadership for the school, ensuring high quality education for all our pupils and demonstrating a passion for continual improvement and achievement.

 

You will lead by example, holding and articulating clear values along with moral purpose, integrity, drive and determination.  You will have the ability to inspire the confidence of students, parents and colleagues through enthusiasm and commitment to the role.
