Hours: 10 hours per week. (Mon-Fri 5pm-7pm)

Forest Alliance of Nursery Schools (FANS) seek to appoint a permanent Cleaner to work at our Outstanding Nursery School site Church Hill Nursery School. Experience in school cleaning is useful, but not essential.

Proven cleaning skills are important and knowledge of cleaning machinery is desirable. 

We would like to hear from highly motivated, well-organised applicants who use their initiative and take pride in their work. We would expect you to maintain very high standards in the upkeep and improvement of our school site and to enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for both pupils and staff.

 

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach and have the right approach for working in a school/nursery environment. Flexibility and a cheerful ‘can-do’ attitude are essential as well as good interpersonal skills, and being able to relate well to a variety of people including pupils, parents and staff.

It is essential that you have a flexible approach, a high degree of motivation and be fully committed to working in a busy school environment. You will be required to show initiative and promote a positive image of the site through your work keeping our school clean and tidy.
