Forest Alliance of Nursery Schools is looking to recruit a Special Needs Assistant to work with children that have a range of different SEND conditions.  This position will primarily be based at the Church Hill Nursery School site.

 

We are looking for a motivated Early Years Practitioner, with a passion for working in Early Years. This nursery aged group of children has a wide range of needs and requires a strong communicator. A positive, forward thinking attitude is essential. The candidate should be active, patient, adaptable and able to fit into the school environment.


The successful candidate will be driven to ensure that the children under their care develop and learn in a safe and supportive environment receive high quality education and care. You will be enthusiastic, hardworking and full of creative ideas and will work to provide rich and stimulating play experiences. Applicants must be able to work well within a team as well as on their own.

Although not essential the ideal candidate will have relevant or some experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and qualified to NVQ level 2.

 

The postholder will be required to support with lunchtime duties.
