Head of Service Provider Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced manager to take up the Head of Service Provider Services   role within Adult Social Care which sits within the  Families directorate . You will directly manage and lead all our in-house provider services which includes three registered Care Homes for Older People, our Dementia Hub, our Shared Lives service as well as a day opportunities centre for people with Learning disabilities. You join the service at a critical point, as we develop our arrangements for CQC inspection across all our services.

 

This role has a strong focus on person-centred practice, staff and service development, safeguarding, risk reduction and the operational management of provider services for adults and older people. You will demonstrate positive relationship building and active communication with service users, families and colleagues to successfully meet agreed outcomes for residents. You will directly interface with and work closely with Health and social work teams in the delivery of services. You will oversee diverse staff teams, have direct experience of CQC inspections in residential settings, have a strong focus on workforce development and budget management as well as ensuring that our service users are at the heart of what we do.  You will be a strong communicator, able to develop strategy  and policy in a rapidly changing environment and manage diverse services through a collaborative leadership approach.

 

The salary is PO11: £66,978 - £70,572
