We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and authoritative individual to join our successful 6th Form Team. The ideal candidate will be required to ensure that the 6th Form Study Centre is a silent and productive environment where 6th Form students are able to work in silence and without distraction. We expect a strong commitment to ensuring the Study Centre is a productive learning environment which 6th Form students use to complete their homework, coursework, or revise.
Highams Park School is a very successful co-educational 11-18 mixed Academy converter comprehensive school. There is a strong culture of achievement in the 6th Form with over 80% of Year 13 students progressing onto University at their end of their Level 3 courses. With the increasing demands placed on students in terms of more rigorous A Level courses, and BTEC Qualifications which compromise of both written examination and extended piece of coursework, it is essential that 6th Form students have a dedicated working space within the school where they can focus on their studies.
