Waltham Forest in east London is undergoing major transformation with a significant amount of investment coming into the borough through new developments, regeneration and infrastructure improvements.

Waltham Forest Highways and Transportation is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to oversee the Council’s drainage, routine and responsive highway maintenance. This includes managing the gully cleansing programme to ensure it meets robust performance targets and liaison with Thames Water. The candidate will also take a key role in delivering the Council’s winter service and emergency call out.

The post is ideally suited to a graduate although applications from non-graduates will also be considered on the merits of their academic qualifications and other achievements.
