This is an exciting time to join the London Borough of Waltham Forests’ Prevention and Assessment Team.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Housing Options and Assessment Officer, who has detailed knowledge and experience of working with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and a proven track record of preventing homeless, whilst delivering a comprehensive housing advice service to residents with housing issues across all tenures.

You should possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, work independently and be able prioritise a large caseload with minimal supervision.

You should hold 3 A levels or equivalent through experience and be able to demonstrate a high level of written English and mathematics.
