Pro rata salary £21,107.00 to £29,456.00 (including London Allowance). Hours available range from 8 hours a week upwards, more hours will be available as the Apprenticeship provision grows. Training sessions are delivered at a range of venues across the borough.

 

Waltham Forest Adult Learning Service is the local authority’s direct provider of adult education and work-based training. Officially rated as “Good” following our OFSTED inspection in July 2016, we are on a journey to “Outstanding.”

The Apprenticeship area is expected to grow significantly. To ensure we are successful in the next stage of our journey we are looking for experienced and qualified subject specialists who are passionate about their subject and can raise achievement through motivating, challenging and inspiring our apprentices.

 

Lecturer/Coach Assessor for Leadership and Management/Business Administration:

The role will include the design and delivery of high quality teaching and learning to ensure lecturers achieve their maximum potential and their learning outcomes. You will also carry out coaching and assess apprentices both in the workplace and remotely as required.  

 

You will need to have a minimum of two years' teaching experience, experience of working in business and management roles and a teaching qualification with a proven track record in teaching accredited vocational learning from level 2 up to level 5 preferably. You will have knowledge of the new Business and Leadership and Management Apprenticeship Standards and an appreciation of the challenges involved as well as being excited by the prospect of ensuring Apprentices and businesses benefit from the opportunities presented by the apprenticeship reforms.

 

If you have the expertise to support the success of Apprentices in either or both of these subject areas and focused on achieving the best outcomes for apprentices and employers then this is the role for you!
