We are looking for an individual who is keen to help us deliver change and help us grow and develop our functions for this ambitious programme.

As a Community Asset Officer you will be key to ensuring the delivery of this programme, you will manage and lead projects within the community buildings portfolio to ensure they deliver the required outputs. You will support the Community Asset Review project and work closely with the Connecting Communities networks.  You will  lead a communications and engagement programme, providing information to key stakeholders and managing accountability to the programme.

We are looking for an individual who is driven to improve public services and has proven practical experience of developing good working relationships. You must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external organisations, including Partner and other agencies, with the ability to contribute towards improved services delivery via planning and development activities. In undertaking this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and present reports, including identification of recommendations for internal/external forums.
  • The ability to lead and deliver larger projects within a specific deadline frame, generating energy and enthusiasm about change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that will help you stand out – we’re looking for someone with the ability to work closely with others to identify, recommend and support the development and delivery of improvements. .
